Delta de l'Ebre
The Delta de l'Ebre is the largest wetland in Catalonia, and one of the most important in the Western Mediterranean. It is comprised of two areas separated by the Ebro River, with different towns along its banks which have made the conservation of the aquatic habitat and human development possible. This is the reason why the Generalitat of Catalonia approved the creation of the Ebro Delta Natural Park in 1983. Google Maps
