• We are Javier and Encarna, a couple of mountaineers and explorers from Barcelona. Five years ago, we began to climb mountains with no intention other than to reconnect with nature, get away from the asphalt and feel a certain sense of freedom.

  • We discovered that these sporadic exits to the mountain gave us back a feeling of well-being ... We returned regenerated! 

  • And we continued to climb more mountains, we learned about the high mountains, we met the great climbers, we took alpinism courses, we began to understand the technical materials, to learn how to orient yourself, how to climb ... And our well-being was increasing ... 

  • We crossed borders, we climbed the Madeira and Azores peaks in Portugal, we reached the French Alps, we discovered the Ural Mountains in Russia ... And our adventure grew as we discovered more new places.

  • Until we came to understand, why were we doing all this? Why did we go out to climb up the mountains? Connecting with nature we connect with ourselves and we become better persons, that was the answer.
