Parc Naturel Régional des Ballons de Vosges
Created in 1989, the Ballons de Vosges Regional Nature Park stretches across the three former regions of Alsace, Franche-Comté and Lorraine, and more specifically in four departments, which are the Haut-Rhin, Haute-Saône, Vosges and the Territory from Belfort. Its 3,000 km² make it one of the largest Natural Parks in France. It has 14 summits, the most important of which is the Great Ball of Alsace, at 1424 meters of altitude. Google Maps
