Parc Naturel Régional de la Haute Vallée de Chevreuse
Southeast of the Yvelines department is the Alto Valle de Chevreuse Regional Natural Park, which covers 25,000 hectares. This territory, covered by a large number of marked trails, offers visitors a succession of forests, agricultural plateaus, ponds and rivers. In addition to its natural and rural attractions, the Park houses a rich architectural heritage, with essential places such as the castles of Breteuil, Dampierre and Chevreuse or the abbeys of Port-Royal-des-Champs and Vaux-de-Cernay.
