Parque Natural de las Cabeceras del Ter y del Freser
The Cabeceras del Ter and Freser Natural Park, located in the Ripollès region, comprises the easternmost samples of high mountains in the Catalan axial Pyrenees, corresponding to the mountain ranges that make up the headwaters of the Ter and Freser rivers. It is a territory of notable orographic complexity and great landscape diversity; factors that, added to an important extension and the considerable altitude amplitude, allow the existence of very varied and rich samples of the geological structures, ecosystems, habitats and plant communities, species and landscapes of this area of the Pyrenees.
